| "Tha Idol was pretty intense last night. I love that the nerdiest competitors made it to the top three! Makes me think that typical Americans are not quite as superficial as I think they are. Oh wait... more people vote for American Idol than in the presidential election. Yes they are." Andrew Burton is possibly the coolest person in the world. Seriously. When I hang out with him, my stomach hurts from laughing so hard. He writes me about fifteen emails a day, and they're just brilliant. I usually am sitting at the computer in my underwear, half asleep, and then I read something he wrote, and I start laughing. My neighbors must think I have multiple personalities or something. But Andrew is the best, and so is his wife. It's like the two coolest people found each other and got married so that their coolness wouldn't be diluted when they had kids. When I lived in Boston, I used to go over to Andrew and Sarah's and we'd have tv parties. We'd watch the Osbournes and the Real World, or American Idol. We always had so much fun just sitting around and eating burritos and watching tv. I miss doing that so much. But yeah. I miss Andrew. He's the coolest. |
